Puttering February

This relatively cheap trackball, Nulea M512 is basically a new improved Kensington SlimBlade. The improvement is the side horizontal and vertical mechanical scrollers.

also there are dedicated DPI, BT/WiFi buttons, on/off switch.

It is USB-c wireless. The switches are very clicky and bright.

The matte plastic of the trackball and switches are a type of polyurethane or pvc that looks rubberized, but is not. It is a pleasant plastic compared to most.

The downside is that it cannot chord buttons the way the Slimblade does.

That’s the biggest deficit - fewer function from the switches. Also I find myself occasionally making the rotating motions about the dumb silvery ring when my cerebellum forgets that this is not the slimblade. For $43 taxed/shipped, it was worth trying out, but I suspect I will go back to the ploopy adept for my right hand soon.
